Jadranovo will surprise you with its modesty and charm, and the atmosphere of an authentic small coastal town where time moves slowly. It was made for a real vacation and departure from the urban way of life, and yet with everything that an urban man needs if they don't want to change their habits. Tourists have been enjoying it since 1935. Even today, this place offers its guests individual accommodation free of the hotel industry. Crystal clear sea rich in freshwater springs, Mediterranean climate with continental freshness and beaches that are everywhere and to everyone's taste: in the bays, along the coast (there are almost as many beaches as boats), between two rocks (Tunera), concrete paved, rocky, sand covered or natural pebble beach (Havišće), there's also a beach (Lokvišće) with healing mud.
It's a part of Kvarner (Quaternarius, four corners of the world), a bay with islands from Opatija to Senj, beyond the sea its own mountain (Učka, 1400m with a Nature Park), and in the hinterland (only 15km from the sea!) Grobničko polje (motodrome) and Gorski kotar with all its shades of green (Risnjak National Park, mountains, nature reserves, caves, rivers, lakes). With its mild climate (in the 19th century it began to receive its first tourists - in winter!), its good geographical position (close to the border) and good transport connections (highway) attract tourists throughout the year.
